Repair of Faulty Control Valves and Actuators

Project Overview

This project involved the repair of faulty gas control valves and their actuators at the Imo River AGG plant, a critical step for starting up the facility. The objective was to restore the valves to optimal performance, enabling the plant to operate efficiently. The valves were disassembled and serviced, teflon seals were machined, the actuators were serviced, and the valves were tested at appropriate pressures with performance monitored using a chart recorder. The valves were duly certified and restored to service. Unitritech completed the project within 7 days.
